hey guys, so i bought my quest 2 in december 2022 and my casting used to work both in pc and chromecast, but recently both stopped working completely, the option to cast to Chromecast stopped appearing in the menu to select a device to cast from, and on the PC whenever I try to cast on the website: https://www.oculus.com/casting/
the following message appears:
''Something went wrong. Try casting from your headset again.''
and you have no idea how many things I've already tried, literally everything I found on the entire internet about the problem I did and I really don't know what it is, today I tried to do a factory reset on my quest 2 and it still doesn't work. The problem is on my PC but I have no idea how to solve it.
It's an important detail when I try to transmit on my laptop it works perfectly, and on my cell phone it also works but on the PC it simply doesn't want to work.
My last hope of being able to cast again is to come here and wait for someone to have a solution.
Hi there @manduumandola! We were scrolling by and noticed you were having issues with Chromecast. We wanted to inform you that Chromecast is no longer supported on Quest devices. This means that you will not be able to cast your Quest content to a TV using Chromecast. There are still ways to cast your Quest content to a screen. You can currently cast via a phone or computer.
