Oculus quest 2 pc app not starting

I downloaded the oculus quest 2 app from the official site. I tried to start it but the app did not even show  in the task bar. I want a app on my pc but I did not founded another site to download the real oculus quest app. Please help me with a link with working app  or some preinstalled app. Thanks in

Oh no @beltysek  This isn't what we want to hear in regards to your PC application, but not to worry we are here to assist you so you can get back to enjoying the VR world!

 

To download and install the Oculus app on your computer:

  1. Click the following link to download the Oculus PC app: Oculus PC app setup.
  2. Find and launch the Oculus app that you just downloaded to your PC. This may be in your Downloads or Programs folder.
  3. Once the Oculus app is launched, click Get Started then click Install Now.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Thanks Meta but I still have a problem. The app is installed but when I click on it nothing happens. The app does not even run in administrator mod, it does not even show a black window. The app just does not starts. Thanks in advance.

Hi again @beltysek! Thank you for reaching back out to us. We want to make sure you are able to properly use the PC app with no issues, so we want to continue troubleshooting this matter until we have it resolved. In order for us to better understand this issue, please attempt to repair the PC app by following these steps:

1. Go to https://www.meta.com/quest/setup/ and click Download software.

2. Select Repair.

- If Windows asks you if you’re sure you want to open this file, click Yes.

-  Windows Defender prompts Windows protected your PC, click More info and then click Run anyway.

- If your antivirus software restricts the file from opening, temporarily disable your AV and continue.

- Please remember to re-enable your antivirus software once you've completed the repair.

4. Allow the repair process to run, download and install.

5. Launch the Oculus PC app.

Once you have given these steps a try, please let us know if you run into any other issues.

I think you are not getting it. I downloaded every guest pc app and non of them worked. I even tried  to download it from different sites. I do not know what is the problem because the app starts on my friends pc but does not on mine. Please help me I really want to play pc vr games but I cannot play them without the oculus app. So do not just send me the site to download the oculus app because the app just does not starts on my pc.
