Congrats Maxxgold but read these forums and look at all the problems with USB disconnects and the framedrop/stuttering issues that are related to it. Oculus has admitted they are aware of the problem and its with their POS bug filled software not our POS computers.

Yes this. Have been building all my rigs for many years now, and so far have had no trouble with my headsets.

The OP is apparently not familiar with the nature that is PC gaming, the devs for PC only have a million and one different configurations to design a universal product for. It is your hardware, or a conflict with software you have installed on your machine. I have Oculus and Steam both installed and both software packages work flawlessly. That's because I have the right hardware and none of the software conflicts. People that put their own PCs together or have been using PC for several years seem to be able to make this stuff work much better than the average consumer. You're certainly not going to be open to any of our responses given that you think you're actually giving us all some secret info with your barely coherent post.

I built this PC also and it is top of the line except for the CPU, but even that still far exceeds minimum specs. I also did buy the exact Inateck card the Oculus recommends. I also bought a powered USB hub as well. Not only do none of these things work but I've been dealing with a support tech for 3 months and feeding them logs while playtesting everything I can think of. The tech keeps telling me they are aware of the problem and are trying to fix it and admits it is their software and there is nothing more I should do but just wait. BTW everything worked fine for months until they released a Frankenstein update in December which introduced these problems for many people with different combinations of hardware. What if next month they release a driver version that makes your headset inoperable? Is that your fault? You just going to keep buying a new mobo or card every update? People with no problems are very forgiving of a company's faults until it happens to them too. With the way Oculus is going your wait may be less than mine.

Agreed, but with any PC equipment, you as the user need to figure it out. We can’t expect Oculus to design their headset to work on a million different setups. It’s up to you to make it work. I build my own pc’s and I’m never the guy losing his shit on a public forum. I put the link to the Inateck USB card right in my signature below. And , yeah it is your POS computer. If you had real USB 3 ports you would be fine, but most people just buy some put together junk. You buy or put together shit and then expect companies to help you. If you can’t figure it out, they make consoles for you to play games on. Either way, the OP’s post is way over the top and deserving of the response it got.
