Oculus touch trigger broken after one evening

My right trigger button is stuck, I can pull it back out with my finger nail but when I press it back it just jams back in.

Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

my right trigger feels like it is starting to go. feels like there's a weird internal rubbing happening as I slowly pull it in... was fine at first, but it's slowly getting worse.

This might explain what you're experiencing.
PCVR: CV1 || 4 sensors || TPcast wireless adapter || MamutVR Gun stock V3
PSVR: PS4 Pro || Move Controllers || Aim controller

You see now i'm pissed off.
clearly this has been a problem for a long time, why the hell have they not changed the revision number on the controllers!

for those too lazy to click the link (normally that'd include me) here's the image

The blue square is where the rubber stopper should be, the red circle shows where the stopper ended up.

Now, if the glue used is not sufficient (clearly not due to us all having clacks already), then it's a manufacturing defect and as they know about this defect they should be recalling and refurbishing all units and doing doorstep swaps to resolve this problem.

Piss poor performance here Oculus!

FYI my left says click and the right clack. So I feel lucky I don't have a squeeky or stuck one.

I found a really easy fix for this problem and without opening the controller.
Cut a strip of plastic coated paper and jam the strip in between the underside of the stuck trigger and the case and push the jammed rubber pad out of the way with the paper, your trigger will be as good as new..and no squeaky noises!

Should this ever happen (and I doubt this happens in BIG numbers as some posters imply), it's *clearly* a defect and a RMA should be self-evident and should get across without problems.
As someone said, if this was a $10 dollar-store item...good...take your blowdryer,void warranty and fix it yourself. But this is a $100 item and IMHO you'd be foolish not to RMA this and get a working replacement. I mean you paid for this service too. Why not make use of it? (God this forum is always so dramatic 🙂 )

After 2 days use, my right-controller has the "squeak" and the rough-texture when depressing it, like something has shifted near the contact points.  Just adding to the pool here.
