OculusVadApoEventTrace error in Event Viewer

It's been there for years, it hasn't been solved, it clogs my system and while update after update is released this problem is never adressed....

Can you please stop updating, adding new functions, insert useless nonsense and fix this very anoying problem, it has something to do with the oculus virtual sound driver and every 15 times it happens on my system, my semi-pro Roland audio-interface disconnects and I have to go lengths to get it working again....

Running an AMD 7950X, RTX4090, 128Gb DDR5 on Win11&Airlink through a dedicated Wifi6 Router to a Quest 3 headset

In order for us to get a better idea of this situation to begin with, please clarify the following details and we can continue from there:
 

• Has this error always been present on your Event viewer? 
• Is this affecting your ability to access the Meta Quest Link app? 
• Were you able to make sure your GPU drivers are completely updated?
• So we don't repeat any, what troubleshooting steps have you already tried?

Hi and thank you for your response, however, treating this as an 'on itself event' and acting like you've never heard of this fault wouldn't make any sense as there are millions of topics around the web about this fault.

So in order to answer you properly

- Yes, the moment I install the Meta Quest app (or before the Oculus app) the error pops up in my event viewer and goes on for ever

- No the Meta Quest link works as it should

- Yes they are

- You shouldn't be troubleshooting, you should dive into your code and take a look onto the web about this, it has something to do with the AudioSRV service and with the Oculus Virtual Audio driver and some function being called that goes wrong, As it messes up my audio driver in Windows, it also messes up the drivers of my other sound devices (and yes I do have more then a standard realtec) and it has been giving this error since a long long time for everyone

So I really would like to ask you to dive into this, the error has ben in the code for egver, as you can see I have 9(!!) pages of this error in my event viewer (since july 4th...) and I know I'm not the only one.

For any issues, please be sure you provide feedback through the PC software, this is done by opening the Meta Quest Link application on your PC, and clicking "Help Center" in the bottom left. From there, click "Provide Feedback" and leave as much detail as you can explaining your issues. We also recommend including any system information and logs where possible.

Here on the forums, we are more geared for troubleshooting and general assistance with Meta Quest VR devices and software. The aforementioned feedback options are the best way to report an issue to our engineers. Regardless, we would be happy to look into this as best we can. Please review the following so we can get as much information on the issues as possible:

• Does this happen when you boot your PC and have no other apps running?
  • If you have any apps run on startup, please temporarily disable those apps from starting up automatically, restart, and check again.
• Running the installer again while already installed will provide a "Repair" option, does this help at all?
• Does this happen if you reinstall the Meta Quest Link application?
• Are these issues still occurring if you remove your Meta Quest device from the Meta Quest Link PC application?
• Are you using any external accessories on your device? Such as an external microphone, speakers, etc.

Any further information you are able to provide would help us look into this further and see if we can help you out. If there is a fix to this could you please post it here because i have the same problem, and when i was playing for only 30 minutes last night i got over 2000 of these errors. I don't have any performance issues whatsoever, but its just annoying with it flooding my logs.
