My official oculus link cable is only about 4 months old but apparently it already has gone bad. When I use it to connect my Quest 2 to my gaming PC, I get a Windows 10 USB error specifically Unknown USB Device (Port Reset Failed). The drivers of the Quest 2 still appear on the Device Manager with this error though.
However, when I use the ordinary white USB charging cable of the Quest 2, I don't get such an error and the usual Quest 2 drivers are still loaded and appear on the Device Manager.
I'm very disappointed to spend that amount of money on the official Oculus Link cable just for it to go bad in such a short span of time. But I'm hoping that the V27 firmware of my Quest 2 somehow has something to do with this since this USB error never happened with the V26 firmware.
