Steps I've taken to try fixing:
Fresh install of latest nvidia drivers (390.77)
uninstalled nvidia drivers and installed drivers 388.59
repairing Oculus software through the installer
tried ending the windows onscreen keyboard process from task manager and opening it from start menu - does nothing when in vr.
checked the primary monitor in nvidia control panel
tried rearranging the displays in windows display settings and nvidia control panel by dragging them around into different layouts, but it always reverts back to the diagonal layout.
Pinning windows and all other features seem to be working, I just don't get a working on-screen keyboard

Are you using custom DPI scaling in Windows?
Dash virtual desktop & keyboard are pretty much non-functional for me for that reason.
