One of my pro controllers seems broken.

Since this morning, I can't use my right pro controller (Quest Pro).  The led keeps blinking white between the 2 leds on the controller.  The controller is connecting and disconnecting every 2-3s, always at the same speed.  I can't use the tracking, but the oculus button works and I can use it in the headset.

I tried to disconnect / reconnect, I tried to shut the controller down and back, but from the moment that the bluethooth is ready, it keeps doing the connect/disconnect every 2-3 seconds.

I tried the factory reset but it didn't seem to work.

Is it broken?  Anything else I can do?

Hey there, @Cheesemak and @Cool_KEeD! Thanks for bringing this concern to our attention! We know not being able to play with both controllers is taking away from your gaming experience, so we'd love to take a further look into everyone's devices!

To get started, we truly appreciate the steps you have been able to take so far! To continue where you left off, we'd like to confirm the following have been attempted:

  1. Let's try rebooting the controller by holding down the Oculus/Menu button until you see the lights change.
    • This usually takes about 20 seconds. You should feel the "powering down" haptics, followed by the "powering up" haptics before releasing the button.
  2. If still not working, press Oculus or Menu button to ensure the controller is awake and flashing S.O.S. on the LED. The S.O.S. mode will blink in white with the S.O.S. pattern (3 quick blinks, 3 slow blinks, 3 quick blinks).
  3. Restart the headset by long-pressing the power button until the Power Menu comes up. Use the Gaze Cursor to select Reboot.

If this has been completed, awesome! From there, let's make sure to factory reset the controller:

  1. Using the Right Controller: Hold A and Oculus buttons until the LED begins flashing red/white.
  2. Release the buttons immediately after the LED begins blinking red/white.
  3. Perform a manual pairing and check if the controller LED will flash blue and white to signal the pairing state.
  4. Once paired, controllers may take a while to update and stay unresponsive until they finish, and the LED will be purple during the update.

After reviewing, and if all these steps have been attempted, please shoot us a PM! We'd like to have our team of specialists take a deeper review of your device! Also, remember, you must be logged in to the community first to send us a private message!
