What's the latest? the update of 'Please wait, we are looking into it' is not good enough - how long do you expect this to go on for?
I have not had a single update unless I have asked for it and each time I get the same reply. You must have an idea how long it will take to resolve for everyone, are we looking at days,weeks, months, years? I host weekly meetings in AltSpace, please give me some kind of idea when you will fix the problem you have caused for me.
I am in the same boat, and very disappointed as I am going to a conference next week which would have been a great time to use the Quest 2 in the hotel with zero distractions of wife, kids, pets, etc. So much for that.
I'm considering a factory reset, creating a junk facebook account and just installing free games like Poker, Altspace etc... I could even airlink it to my pc and play steam games. When they finally get round to restoring my original account I wouldn't object to them deleting the temporary one.
Hope the conference was ok - just to let you know that after the factory reset I could log into my headset but my account was corrupt and I had no apps etc. I could still download poker, altspace, web browser and the free stuff so I am able to continue grinding my way up the poker leagues until my account is fixed. it's not perfect but better than nothing - especially if you are stuck in a hotel.
