I have questions and suggestions if someone has not addressed this before.
1) Just recently, I realized my online status is always showing me online, even when I am completely logged off, my headset is shut down, and all my browsers and apps are closed. I did not think of this before because I just assumed it would automatically change when I shut down my headset. It was not till recently that a friend asked me how is it that I'm always online that I paid attention to it. So, is this correct? It looks like my status must always be changed manually. Why is this? Shouldn't it automatically change based on either the status of your device or homepage, and shouldn't we have the option to choose which one is the master?
2) I really would like to see an enhancement to the blocking feature where if you block someone for whatever reason (but usually, you would do this if someone is harassing you) that not only would you not hear them and they can not hear you, but it makes a 3ft personal bubble around you where the blocked person can not enter. This is to address the issue of people intentionally running up to others in VR and waving their hands and other close-couter annoyances. This would have to go both ways to avoid people also using it as a means of harassment. For example, a group of bullies blocks one person and then moves up to them to block them in a corner and hold them there. So the personal bubble can't push anyone in either direction.
I mainly bring the last one up because I do see a lot of young users that probably should not be using the headsets and attending concerts and sporting events that are clearly intended for adults and yet they is no restriction, so they are running around being either annoying by nature and not intentionally as they are just being kids, or sometimes they are out to be obnotous brats. I should not have to worry about going someplace like the concert for "Raye" (Very enjoyable, BTW) or MMA and have to worry about having kids running around screaming and yelling or saying something I may say or even dropping the occasional F-Bomb that I might get bricked of some kids' parent complains. I can just go in, and if I find some kids, I can just block them and even maybe have the option to block them for like 1, 2, or 3 hours at a time and simply enjoy the event.
This is one of the reasons I don't attend the Meta as much. Most of the time, it's not their fault; they are just being kids and all, but it is a buzz kill when you just want to an event and talk to other adults and be treated like one.
If these have already been addressed and I did miss the port(s), then sorry for the rant. Thank you
