That is the error message I'm getting when I'm trying to play most demos.
Now I'm trying to get VanguardV to work, which can be found on share. I start "VanguardV_DirectToRift" from the folder and I hear audio, but all I see on my main monitor is a white window which covers the entire screen. Nothing on the rift, just a black screen. And yes, I have it set to "Direct HMD Access from Apps". So I searched around and found this: http://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/2c65tq/apparent_work_around_for_amd_dk2_black_screen/ . I got an AMD card, so this should help. However, when I try to use the shortcut, it gives me the error I get from most demos. But when I turn off the DK2, it shows the game in the window on my main monitor. So I guess the problem is related to unity demos, directX 11 and the DK2. I have installed the Visual C++ 2010 Redistributables (x86), so I have no idea how to fix it.
