OpenXR Not working for Oculus Rift (CV1)

Recently i tried to test a game in headset but the project would not open in my headset. This issue has also now been happening to some games like beat saber and most games in unity, Steam VR also did not fix the issue. Any help?

V66 killed Touch controller support in OpenXR games, like Beat Saber - but v67 and V68 are working perfectly again - but depending on how often the rig is used, some could still be using v66. Easy to check in the Generel settings tab of the Meta PC app 🙂

In case of problems with v67 or V68, I'd contact Meta Support:

Go to the meta-link pc app settings/general tab and select oculus as your default OpenXR runtime.

i9 13900K water cooled, RTX4090, Z790 MB w/wifi6e, 32Gb 6400 ram, 2x2TB SSD, 1000W PSU, Win 11, QPro, Q3, w/Link and Air Link, Vive Pro1 with Etsy lens mod and Index Controllers

I've tried this already but would not work. I've also tried manually setting it through regedit but still would not work.

You shouldn't need to do anything with your registry.  This is often a recipe for disaster, lol!  If you can't sort this out yourself I suggest you contact meta support and include your log file.  They may be able to identify what's causing this.  I've recently retired my Rift cv1 but up to a couple of months ago it was working fine with OpenXR (oculus runtime version) apps and many others that don't require this.  I don't think BS even uses OpenXR, but I might be wrong since I don't use this.  I think there was a couple of recent meta-link pc app updates (v66 or 67?) that caused a few cv1 problems but seem to be fixed now with v68.

Maybe try contacting @RuneSR2 .  He is still using his cv1 and may be able to point you in the right direction.  It probably would also be a good idea to include your PC specs.  Good luck mate and cheers.
