Orange light No HMD Detected, Tracker Connected

Honored Guest
I have reinstalled run-time 4 / 5 / and 6 multiple times. tried every USB port, unplugged two of my triple monitors, unplugged everything except one monitor and the dK2. I get a orange light but the config utility says No HMD Detected, Tracker Connected. I switched from extended to direct mode. I don't know what else to do. here is my log. It worked a moth ago. I had it unhooked and put away. I hooked it back up and this is what I got. :?

2 weeks and no one has any idea what my problem is????

Sorry for the delay. I have heard of this problem before, but I never was able to get a clear understanding of the root cause. Certainly, it can be bad cables. Even cables that worked a month ago could suddenly die. So I would check that first to be sure.

I tried all the cables. Still not detected. Won't even show that it is plunged in. Thanks for the reply. Does anything look wrong on the log???

No, I don't see anything obvious wrong in the log. The only somewhat strange thing is the monitor resolution. Is that an ultra widescreen or possibly multi-monitor. If it's multiple (like Nvidia Surround) you may want to try with just one monitor connected.

I haven't read the entire post but I had a similar issue... try unplugging all your other USB devices. Sounds like a power issue. As it turns out I ended up having to unplug my external hard drive which uses a blue 3.0 USB connection right near where the headset is plugged in and that solved my issue.

Yes it is a multi monitor setup; Nvidia Surround. I tried with just one monitor. I have also tried with everything unplugged. It worked a couple of months ago. I was playing Elite Dangerous every day. Then I stopped. I went to use it again and it would not detect. I guess I will just have to unplug everything uninstall runtime, and try different monitor connections. My GTX 970 has Dual Link DVI-I, HDMI 2.0, 3x DisplayPort 1.2. Thanks for looking at it guys. I am off to the 1000 Islands this weekend for some kiteboarding so I'll give it a try Sunday night. Thanks again. 🙂
