Clicking the system menu button doesn't display the system menu overlay once a new scene is loaded in Bigscreen and other apps.
Sleeping the HMD and re-waking it re-enables the system button/menu.

This is to do with requesting android permissions. Full repro:
- Uninstall Bigscreen/an app that uses mic permissions
- Install Bigscreen
- go to mic settings and touch the mic icon, which causes the Android mic permissions dialog to popup
- Accept the dialog
- Click the mic icon again which then tells you in Bigscreen that the mic is enabled
- From now on, clicking the system menu button (meta icon button on the right motion controller) fails to display the system overlay
- It's like the permissions process means that the focus gets stuck
- This is the same in both Unity and Unreal applications
- It's even caused by checking the permissions when the permissions have already been allowed in UE.

Hey there! I appreciate you bringing this issue up about v62. Recreating what's happening can definitely help our engineers get on top of this issue before the update is released. I'll let you know if they say anything more about this. Let us know if you find any other troubles with v62!

Had the same issue yesterday in Horizon worlds, first run on a new install on Quest 2, v62 , so there's still an issue sometimes. No access to the system overlay/main menu when in the app.

Thanks for letting me know about the update! I'll go ahead and relay this to our engineers so they can look into this further. In the meantime, PTC v63.0 was released recently. Can you let me know if you're able to update to that version and also provide the full version number of which ever software update your headset is running?
