On v62, the USB debugging prompt does not appear when the Quest 3 is plugged into the computer.
To make it appear, we must click on the "oculus/meta" home button. Then, once accepted, to make the home environment appear, we must click again on this button.
On all previous versions of Meta, this prompt appeared without a hitch.
Could you please fix that ?

@ShiroTenko
Now it has changed.
Quest 3 - 62.0.0.260.343.56123828
The screen does not go pitch black, but in passthrough mode with the warning that there are several objects in my guardian space, which is true, but the home button hat no effect in bringing up the prompt. I had to put down the headset to trigger the proximity sensor. For a split second I've saw something that looked like a prompt in the top area of my screen and then the pass through was activated as stated above.

@ShiroTenko
I don't know if it needs another topic, but as the proximity sensor is also involved, I've noticed issues with the screen turning back on, after I've put the headset down.

I think making a new thread for that specifically would help increase visibility on that issue as a whole.
Thank you for the headset version number as well!

Hi @ShiroTenko I have an update for you. I just receive the new update :
Version : 63.0.0.146.363.566760361
Current version : 63.0.0.145.363.566760467
And some things are better, but some still have bugs. It appears there is a new look for autorization windows/prompts.
- The USB debug prompt is now good with new look and don't have issue.
- The Wireless debug is still old look and have black screen problem...
So, some things are better 🙂 But now, what the Meta dev teams must do is to update the wireless debug prompt to the new look

Aye! Glad to see some improvements with the new update! So aside from the prompt UI not being updated yet, have you noticed the prompt still acting up at all or is it consistently good now?

The new look of the prompts seems to be good and doesn't seem to have the black screen problem. Next step is fixing the wireless debugging prompt. Are the dev team working on it now ?

That's good to hear! I already went ahead and relayed this info to the team. So for now I would suggest putting in the bug report for the PTC v63 while we wait.

When I use Quest3 and authorize WiFi debugging through adb, the machine will first enter a black screen state. Then, I must click the home button on the controller to reopen the "Allow wireless debugging on this network" window. If I do not click the home button, it will remain in a black screen state
The same goes for USB authorization when connecting to a computer. After plugging in the data cable, it will first enter a black screen state, and then click the home button with the controller to open the "USB Debugging" window
I only encountered the above issue after updating the v62 system. When it was v60, there was no such issue. Is there a bug in the official version?
