PTC v69 continuing USB device not recognized error when Quest 3 is powered down but connected to pc.

On V69 I get a continuing USB device not recognized error (malfunctioned etc.) notification when powering off the Quest 3 with the (official) USB cable still connected to the pc. The Quest 3 is also turning on and off repeatingly while doing that.

I never had this issue before but I have a new motherboard (a Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II)  since a few weeks (everything updated) and not sure it's my system or the Quest 3 update.

Hey there! We appreciate you getting in touch about this. As V69 is still in its PTC release, reporting any bugs you encounter is greatly appreciated! 

 

In the meantime, can we ask you to make sure you're using a securely connected cable with no dirt or damage present, make sure Air Link is disabled via the Quest PC app and the settings menu of the headset and make sure your Quest App is fully up to date.
