I'm considering purchasing a Meta Quest 3 and would like to know more details in term of outside package look about the differences between refurbished package and new units package look like before making a decision.
1. Could you please tell me what make product package of a refurbished Meta Quest 3 difference or same package to new one and how they differ from a new unit?
2. There's been talk that the box of refurbished units might not have the paper cover with images on the outside. Is this information correct?
3. If possible, could you provide comparison images of the packaging for refurbished and new units?
4. In term of packaging, are there any other differences between refurbished and new units that I should be aware of before making a purchase decision?

Hey there, @cevousa and welcome to the community forums! 👋
With the device you will receive a full kit. This will be the headset with standard facial interface, left and right Touch Plus controllers with wrist straps and two AA batteries, and the charging cable and adaptor.
These are units that have been returned to Meta as either buyer's remorse or units that were faulty/damaged. That being said, all units have been thoroughly cleaned and rigorously inspected. If repaired, all components are genuine and from the original manufacturer. All branded markings, letters and logos are as good as new ✨
In terms of paper covers, I wouldn't be able to confirm or deny if these are included or not unfortunately 😪
In terms of packaging, it is not guaranteed that the unit will be sent out in an original box and if it is, I wouldn't be able to confirm the condition. This is as Meta can accept returns whether the original box is included or not or the condition it is returned in.
I wouldn't be able to provide an image of the packaging for the refurbished unit as these may vary due to what I've mentioned above.
However, The good news is that you have a 30-day free returns period on refurbished units as well as a one-year limited warranty so if the received product isn't to your liking then you can send it back for free 🙂
