this whole project is a thorn in my side. Why can't there be a human side to this process. Can some giide a grandmother help her grandson enjoy this ridiculously expensive piece of plastic
Hello @spencer.j.092412! We know getting your headset set up to start your VR journey can be exciting, so we'd be glad to lend a hand.
To start off, if you haven't already, you'll want to create a Meta account which will be used to login and pair. You'll need to download the Meta Quest app and select the 'Set up account with email' option, or you can also login with Instagram and Facebook if you're wanting to find any friends with their accounts connected as well.
After creating an account, you'll be asked to create a Pin which will be used for authorizing purchases, and a payment method as well. Once finished, you'll want to setup a Horizon profile in order to play games online with others.
Afterwards, if this is the first time, you'll be prompted to select which headset you're using. While having the headset on, it will provide you with a 5 digit code which will need to be input to the Meta Quest app which should be the last step to pairing the app with the headset.
