Is there a way to change an admin on a oculus account. My husband set the oculus up with his email. This has since stopped working and he can no longer access it.
I have set up a meta account but can’t pair the oculus to it because it needs me to go into into my husband’s account and log out I guess. I can’t do this. It doesn’t give me the option to go back to factory settings because it all has to come from that my husband’s account which is no longer accessible.
You don't have to go in any settings to do a factory reset.
Just use the power and the volume button.
To perform a factory reset using your Meta Quest:
Turn off your headset.
Hold the power and volume (-) buttons on your headset down simultaneously until the boot screen has loaded on your headset.
Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Factory Reset and press the power button.
Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.
After the factory reset is done, you can set up the Quest with your account.
