Hi,
Does anyone know why on earth i have to manually allow every single app regardless of the age? There are PEGI 3 & 7 ames that are blocked and i need to go through the whole list to unblock them. This is hands down the most ridiculous system ive ever come across, PlayStation allows me to set a limit of games he can access and if its lower than that it automatically allows and i can manage them individually if needed. Not this though... Not only have I spent the last 2 weeks jumping through the same hoops over and over to finally be able to proceed past the payment stage of verification but now they are making me spend however long it will be unblocking games he is old enough to play.
Also why are they forcing my hand? There are games I am happy for him to play that are older but they block them, he is my son not Zuckerbergs. I am the one who says what he can or cant do, I supervise him and know what he is able to do and whats ok for him to see. Honestly this entire experience has been the worst experience ive ever had from a tech company and i have a feeling this is going to be the bane of my life until i can hand over his account. In all honesty i wish i had just lied and put his DOB older than it is just so it could be managed as an adult one becuase this is just outright stupid. It is clear its been developed by people without kids who asume all parents are bad ones who dont communicatie with thier kids and lack trust.

Hopefully you can do it, did they send a link? They sent me one it was something like meta.com/id-verify or whatever but it just took me to a language selection page. Didn't matter if I used Chrome, Firefox, Oprah or Edge in normal or grot mode (incognito). Nothing made a difference, They just don't have a clue, it feels like they know it's crap and broken and they are just throwing hoops out for us to jump through to buy themselves time to fix it.
I found so many bugs while doing it and tried to report them but they weren't interested. I test software and hardware as part of my job and if I did this with my products I'd be fired.

I think you should have a look at my two recent posts in - Can't confirm I'm parent. Basically, Meta's payment security protocol does not meet the requirements of the FCA in the UK (or EU), so banks in the UK are unable to make the payments. Which then begs the question, why can games be purchased. Which then suggests the verifying of ID through making a payment is designed to fail, to then force us to give away personal information.
