Can someone please help me with this utterly BS sytem now in place? My sons email got a notification saying a parent is needed to manage the account. This is fine, I've created my account and got to the stage where I need to verfiy I'm an adult. EVERY SINGLE card I use, both debit and credit cards with a mix of Visa and Mastercards, says it is unable to process the card. My various bank apps all tell me that the merchant is not processing the payment correctly and to contact them which I have tried but there isn't an option for this stupid error. If I don't verify my sons account by the 6th of Aug he will no longer be able to use the account meaning I will be seeking a full refund from Meta on all purchases made on this account because their system can't do a basic thing like add a card. I'm a techinical person working for an electronics company, I've done app dev and this is by far the worst system I have come across and if I'm struggling then others have no chance. Can anyone help me or will I be left with a usless device (I sure as hell don't want it so won't be using my newly created account) or can I just change his date of birth and be done with this farce?
Meta are hands down the most difficult company to deal with if anything goes wrong, they dictate everything to us yet when things go wrong they make hoops so difficult to jump though they may as well put them on the surface of the sun.

Hi, I would love to however Meta Devs are up there with the worst for any tech company. How do I do this? I click your name and most of the pop up message is off the screen to the left and I see waving hands see screenshots. This issue is STILL happening and my son's account locks down tomorrow. Sort this out, it's not just me is it? This happens all the time, there are loads of posts. Support is nigh on impossible to speak to, one friendly person has now stopped replying, I'm fed up of this **bleep**e service. If I treated my customers like this I wouldn't have any and I'd be fired. It's almost like Americans forget the rest of the world exists and apps get developed for Apple only even though it's a fraction of the market of phone users. How do I can't you? How do I verify this before tomorrow? I'm telling you now if I don't get a resolution I shall be requesting a refund for all purchases and returning the headset under UK laws for not being fit for purpose. It's my son, I choose to let him use it and evene, a technical person can't sort it out, got help anyone else who isn't technically minded. I look forward to hearing from you tonight
