I purchased a quest 2 for my son last year for his 12th birthday. Now the rules have changed, I have set up a parent account as he is not 13, but it asks for a bank transaction of 81p to prove I am the guardian and after approving it in my bank app, it fails to move on allowing my son to play on this very expensive equipment.
I cannot even find a telephone number to speak to anyone. I am so frustrated as this equipment was very expensive and my son cannot play on it due to thes

Hey there @Moonboy123456! Thank you so much for reaching out to us! We understand that you have approved the payment charge to verify yourself as the parent but it's not letting you continue. We know you're eager for your son to jump back into VR, so we're here to help! Would you be able to explain a little more on what happened after you approved the transaction? If there is some kind of error that's preventing you then please take a screenshot of it and provide it to us. Once we have more clarification on what process is getting stuck, we'll be able to proceed further. We appreciate you taking the time to get this information over to us, looking forward to your resposne!

My friend helped but the verification issue was an issue when doing it on my phone, my friend went through the process on a PC and the verification worked.

Hi Meta Quest Support,
I am in a similar situation. I bought the Meta Quest 2 in 2022 for my daughter, and she loves it. However, for the last couple weeks we haven't been able to use it. The headset became unusable after she entered her date of birth, which conflicted with the information I put in almost two years ago, as she is still under 13.
I have contacted Meta Quest Support, but they said that they couldn’t do anything about it. This would result in losing all the games I had on the account, as well as £22 worth of credit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

Hey there!
We understand that your child's account has been blocked for being underage.
If your daughter is under the age of 13 and was given a standard Meta Account. This violates our Terms of Service therefore we may not be able to assist much.
It may also be worth having a look at our public article on how to set up a Parent Managed Account: https://www.meta.com/help/quest/articles/accounts/account-settings-and-management/create-manage-meta...
We would however, like to have a look at the account if you could send us a private message to investigate if there possibly any way we can assist.
