I accidentally broke one of my oculus controllers and my father got a meta headset for himself but he doesn't use it, so i tried paring it to my oculus but it didn't work. I tried unpairing both of the original controllers but that didn't work either, so idk what else to do.

Are they the exact same style of headset? Whether it's Oculus or Meta doesn't matter, they are the same. But Quest 1 (black headset) and Quest 2 (white headset) are incompatible for controllers.

They both are the quest 2 but (technically) from different companies
