Party stopped working

Patresha
Honored Guest

Joined a party then when I tried to view the party to be able to do anything it just brings up a black screen with a blue loading circle and doesn’t load at all and it’s stuck on that.

Hey there, @Patresha! We don't like to see our users have this kind of issue. We want the best experience possible for our VR family. Not to worry. We have a few steps for you to try out.

  • Go to https://auth.meta.com/settings/security/
    • If you unlinked your Facebook account from your Meta account, enter your Meta account password.
    • If you maintained your link to your Facebook account, select Continue with Facebook and enter your Facebook password on the following screen.
  • Go to "Password and Security."
  • Click the Edit button next to the Sessions section.
  • Click "Log out of all sessions."
  • A pairing code should appear in your headset after a few seconds.
  • Go to meta.com/device to complete device code authorization.
    • Your device will restart automatically.
  • Attempt to launch Horizon Worlds again.

Please give this a try and let us know if that worked for you!

Didn’t work I’ve even tried factory resetting.

Hey there, @100PercentHIM. We're sad to hear that even a factory reset didn't help out with viewing the party in Horizon Worlds. In this case, it'd be best to submit a bug report on the issue so we can get more data on it and get it resolved.
