I was going to play on my VR and it says that I need a pattern, which I never created a pattern and now I'm locked out. I cant pair my phone to VR on the oculus app.
Hey there Evster_612, we see you're having problems with your unlock pattern! Let's get that sorted out for you. Seems that you have 2 options available to you.
Removing the Pattern with Oculus App
Navigate to Settings > More Settings > Unlock Pattern within the Oculus App
Inside it, there would be 3 options: Unlock Headset from Phone, Reset Unlock Pattern, and Remove Unlock Pattern.
By choosing Remove Unlock Pattern, it will ask for your pin. (If you do not know your pin, proceed to next section)
Remove the pattern, then set up a new one.
Removing the Pattern via Factory Reset
Turn off your headset.
Hold the power and volume (-) button on your headset down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Factory Reset and press the power button.
Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.
Performing a factory reset is irreversible and will remove all account information, downloaded games, and content from the headset.
Performing a factory reset won’t remove content you’ve purchased or downloaded from your account.
