So I updated my drivers for my Quest 2 and now when I try to launch Pavlov via Steam, it just launches it on my desktop and not on my actual headset. I can see the flat screen version of it in my headset but it's not actually in VR mode. I looked online an tried finding solutions and nothing seems to work. I've tried opting out of the PTC, but I was already opted out. OpenXR is set as active. If anybody has a fix for this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Well I'm both glad and disappointed that it wasn't just me. I played a ton yesterday just fine, and after the driver update, it's a nightmare. I've followed countless repair methods and reinstalled everything VR related with no luck. I got it to run in Steam VR by switching my OpenXR to Steam, but for some reason it just becomes unplayable in every way. Not sure what else to try at this point, and no one seems to have a fix.
EDIT: Every other game launches just fine. It's just Pavlov for some reason.

I'm glad im not the only one right now with the issue since the driver update, iv reinstalled the entire game on steam, reinstalled steamvr, reinstall metaquest, done basically everything possible and the game will not load but every other game I have on steam works flawlessly with OpenXR: Oculus. I can get Pavlov to run if I change to Steams OpenXR but the game runs super poorly on it.

We're looking forward to hearing back from you on this!

This is not an issue with the headset, or for any standalone features, but more of a problem with quest link. Pavlov launches on the desktop only. The game doesn't even try to load in on the headset, but it does show the little rotating circle at the corner of the library thumbnail that indicates it's running. If I try to quit the app through the headset, it stays unresponsive. As of now I have redownloaded all steam apps and software, oculus software, and the game itself. I double checked my GPU drivers, and I even updated windows to 11. I've confirmed OpenXR is running in oculus, and I tried toggling my PTC with no effect. I was just playing the game yesterday, and Pavlov, nor steam, have updated since, so it's safe to say the issue is with the update that oculus pushed out, which would explain why zero of the methods to fix this problem have worked, since the issue would be within the Oculus software itself.
EDIT: I E-mailed Vankrupt about the issue as well, and they have confirmed that issue is with the new Oculus update. The support team says a temporary fix in the meantime is to rollback the Oculus software to previous version.

Hey there @terrortoaster, thank you for the follow up and additional information. While it may have been something changed on the Oculus app, if it is only affecting Pavlov Shack, likely the resolution is going to be to wait for the developers of the app to make the proper changes that will make it compatible with the apps new update. It is not possible to roll back the app versions, so based on the information you've provided here, the only option currently will be to wait for an update for Pavlov Shack. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Ya, the problem is only with Pavlov and from what I've heard, DCS as well.
