I have been trying to play pcvr (quest 2) recently and around 20 minutes into gameplay it suddenly freezes on both my vr and pc. my pc specs are (16gb ram, Amd Radeon RX 6600 XT, Amd ryzen 5 5600-6 core processor) also have a usb 3.0 cable. I have tried what has felt like everything I shall list everything that I have tried.
(factory reset both my vr and pc)
(made sure cable is good)
(Tried changing ports)
(rotated the usb part that connects to my headset)
(Disabled USB selective suspend setting)
(lowered all graphics including the ones in the debug tool)
That is just some of them, I cannot use airlink I don’t have the router for it
my pc is also plugged into the ethernet
it also only happens when I’m playing via pcvr NOT standalone
if This keeps happening I am just going to buy a quest 3s.
Try disabling all notifications in the headset. My link freezes (game carries on playing on the PC and audio continues) whenever a notification arrives. Disabling them has completely removed the issue for me.
