Permanently disabled Instagram

Hello,

 

I’m following up because my Instagram account was wrongfully disabled and has now been compromised by a hacker. I received a vague message stating my account was “associated with another account that went against Community Standards,” which is not only unclear but entirely untrue on my end. I did not violate any policies, and I deserve a proper explanation with transparency.

 

After my appeal was denied, I received an email that someone logged into my account. I no longer have access, and I believe I was hacked shortly after the ban—which clearly shows my account should never have been disabled in the first place. Instead of protecting me as the real user, Instagram gave control to someone else. That is absolutely unacceptable.

 

I built my account from the ground up—zero followers to thousands. I spent years working on that page, creating genuine content, staying active, and engaging positively. That account held memories, connections, and hard work. It meant a lot to me.

 

Instead of protecting me or helping resolve this issue, you locked me out, wasted my time, and apparently handed my page to someone else. That’s not just unfair—it’s completely disrespectful.

 

Y’all are seriously out of line. I sent everything you asked for—school ID, birth certificate, appeals—everything was valid. You banned me for no reason, made me go through this long, useless process, and now a few seconds later I get a notification that someone else logged into my account?

 

I built my account from 0 to 1,000 followers on my own through consistency and dedication. This account is important to me and reflects my work. I want this issue escalated immediately to a live representative. I am also prepared to continue pursuing this through the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office, as I’ve already filed a complaint.

 

I’m requesting:

1. A manual review by a real person—not a bot.

2. An investigation into suspicious login activity post-ban.

3. My account reinstated and secured immediately.

 

Please treat this matter with urgency. I should not be punished for someone else’s actions.
