Phone notifications setup problem

I found out how to setup phone notifications a little while ago and tried to set it up. When I got to the page where it says stuff about setting it up, I press continue and it shows a loading wheel but it never loads. It eventually kicks me out of the screen to the phone notifications settings tab. I’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting and that doesn’t work. I’ve tried multiple days and it’s never worked. Idk what to do, I’ve asked my friends and looked at videos, I couldn’t figure it out.

I’m having the same issue. It’s just an infinite loading screen from phone notifications on app, and in the quest settings it’s just a do not disturb tab. Hopefully we see a software update.

Hey everyone! I wanted to check in since I noticed that it's been a while since this was posted with no response. 

Since this was posted, I'm sure we're aware that version 59 has now been fully released. 

If you're still running into this issue, I would suggest the following:

  1. Reboot your headset:
    1. Power it off. 
    2. Hold the power and volume (-) buttons together for a short moment until the menu pops up. 
    3. Use the volume buttons to hover over boot device and click the power button to make the selection.
  2. Try setting up notifications through a different network if possible. 

If those don't seem to help out, the next best thing I can recommend is reaching out to @MetaQuestSupport through PM or through a support ticket.

If anyone has managed to get it running, let us know what helped you get it working!

I have tried everything suggested with V59 and it still does not work.  It works perfectly good with my Quest 2, but not the Quest 3.  I tried using the support ticket link, but it only states 10 conditions to open a ticket and none of them apply to my issue.  I do not know why they just don't have a "Other" option to open a ticket.

Has there been a fix or solution for this?.  I had this working on quest 2,  but cannot get this working on quest 3.  I am also on v59, and have tried normal troubleshooting options, no matter what I do  I cannot get this to setup.    I tried chatting with support, just want to know that this is a known issue and that its already been reported and being worked on. 

I also have this issue, anyone have any luck? v59 doesnt seem to fix this

 

Not yet, I reported to support.  The last I heard was they needed to investigate and would get back to me.  If I hear anything I will report here.

no changes for me even with v59.
