I found out how to setup phone notifications a little while ago and tried to set it up. When I got to the page where it says stuff about setting it up, I press continue and it shows a loading wheel but it never loads. It eventually kicks me out of the screen to the phone notifications settings tab. I’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting and that doesn’t work. I’ve tried multiple days and it’s never worked. Idk what to do, I’ve asked my friends and looked at videos, I couldn’t figure it out.
Hey everyone! I noticed the release notes for v60 went live today, so I decided to check them out.
It looks like phone notifications are something that's going to be discontinued- which hurts me also to find out, since it makes it easier to know when someone texts me while in VR.
The only thing I can really recommend now, would be to put in an idea on the ideas board, and hope the engineers will bring it back later on.
well that's a deal breaker for me. i had planned to keep using Quest even after i get my Vision, but without in-headset phone notifications, that's just one of the MOST useful functions that they have now taken away. I do not plan to ever buy another quest because of this.

Yeah it's pretty sad they can't figure out how to get phone notifications to work. It's annoying to remove headset everytime I get a notification. Cause it's too blurry to read or respond in pass-through. Notifications should be priority.
I wonder what next feature they will kill in their future releases and how many stupid and useless "Home Environments" they will push on us. Who's still hanging out in their "Meta Home"? I'm not doing it any longer. Since they gave us legs, it is so weird when you have a party over, and you look at them from the frog perspective, seeing that they are looking into the sky by trying to look at you. Meta, give us back notifications, please
