Quest 3 has been like this for months.
Please help me see if my left controller is broken. The symptom is that the left stick pulls down and stays stuck all the time.
I've tried everything but it doesn't work.
- Turn off the device and turn it on again.
- Remove the battery and put it back in.
- Try to unpair the controller and pair it again in the mobile app.
- Try to set the calibration but it doesn't work because it's stuck.
- Finally, I tried to Factory Reset the glasses and it went back to the same.
I'm very confused. Another strange thing is that when I tried to switch the controller to the right side, my right hand pressed and stayed stuck.
I'm confused. Is it the software or the controller?
Do I need to fix it or what should I do? Please advise.
@bigshowbp01meta if it's still in warranty you should be able to return it and get a replacement as it shouldn't stick in that position like that. Send a message to @MetaQuestSupport
Joystick controls can sometimes get debris between the dome shaped part of the stick and the hand controller body which can cause it to jam.
If it's out of warranty you might be able to clean the debris by removing the controller front plate and gently pulling up on the thumbstick topper to pull it off the shaft.
