With the Quest 3 when playing Population One I keep losing Wi-Fi connection and it only happens with the Quest 3

Hey @DuaneBlackwell! I'm under the assumption that this was resolved, but I wanted to reach out just in case.

I lose connection on at least half of my games with the oculus 3.  Never had this problem with the 2. Have a great internet connection.

Only with population one, all other games work fine

Hey @Cormac_mac_Keane. We're disheartened to hear you aren't able to effortlessly enjoy the battle. We definitely wish for you to have a much better experience in the VR world. With the connection being intermittent while in gameplay, please try the following:

  1. Try connecting to a different network.
  2. Reboot the headset.

To restart your headset:

  • With your headset on and powered on, press and hold the power button on the right side of your headset until you see the Power off screen.
  • Select Restart. Your headset will turn off and then turn back on.

Let us know if you continue to have this issue after these steps, as we're eager to get you back in the battle headset first.

Hello I also have this issue. Sometimes my game works fine, other times population one is unplayable. It is very frustrating that only pop 1 has this issue.

Hi @Joisco! We understand how important this game is to you and we would love to help you keep playing. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we know it's never fun to experience any issues with WIFI connectivity. We would love help get this matter resolved for you. Luckily, we do have a couple of troubleshooting steps we can try to fix this WIFI connection. With that being said, can you please try these troubleshooting steps if you haven't already? 

  • Disable the dual-band feature of the router so the headsets can be on the same channel. This may help the headset from joining another channel which can impact the Wi-Fi signal.
  • Reboot the headset
  • Try connecting to a different WIFI network connection.
  • Remove any unsupported third-party accessories that may affect communication (such as headset covers, etc.)
  • Perform a factory reset.

I will look into disabling the dual band feature and making a factory reset as well. Thank you for the advice.
