Hello, is it possible to test if the Oculus Rift boots without a dedicated GPU? Not to run games, but just to test if it boots. Does the display turns on at all?

@bionaryon does your CPU have an integrated graphics chip? If so you may be able to plug the Rift HDMI connector into the HDMI socket on the motherboard to test if the Rift screens are working, as the USB connector only powers the headset including the the proximity sensor in the headset which may give an indication of functionality.

Hey there, while its not something we would recommend we would encourage you to review our minimum requirements for running PCVR.
You can view the article here.
While the device should show a display when it receives power we cannot comment if it will impact your device without a dedicated GPU.
