Hi, just purchased Meta Quest 2. When you turn it one, should there be a black screen?

Hi there @HairyDayThree! There definitely should not be a black screen when you turn on your device. We know how inconvenient it can be to have to deal with a black screen. Not to worry though, we're happy to help you look into this!
Have you charged your device fully for at least 2 hours? If it is fully charged and you are still seeing a black screen, we suggest trying a factory reset on your device. This can be done through your headset or through the app on your phone.
