Trying this route first as a guy on another forum is 3D printing the lens thingy for me but am unsure what is it exactly that I order from Zenni?

My main concern with this approach would be there is no consideration of IPD
The adapter is not adjustable.

When you order through widmovr (for example) you specify your IPD and they make the mount for that measurement.

From Zenni you would order a pair of glasses with your prescription using frame #550021 (shown on your link). You would then remove the lenses, chuck away the frame, fit the lenses into your unadjustable, friend printed adapter.

Sorry what is IPD and where would I find that on my prescription?
Thanks for the clarification on Zeeni, I thought I might try this approach first and if no use then go for widmovr instead.

IPD is the distance between your pupils.  The average is something like, 63CM.  And yeah, the adapter that's 3d printed isnt adjustable, but, I just went with 63CM, and have had no issues.  If you want to find your own you can follow this:

In theory, if you're printing your own adapter, you could have whoever prints it simply adjust for your particular IPD (lense center to center should be your IPD) If you look at the widmovr product, and the "home printed" ones, they're nearly identical in design, other than the lense shape.

When you move the slider on the bottom of your Rift, it moves the lenses closer together or further apart. This allows for each person's individual IPD (Inter Pupillary Distance). This ensures that the Rift lenses are positioned directly in front of your eyes.

So, when your optometrist provides a prescription they measure the distance between your eyes (IPD) and this is included in your prescription.
