Problem with Stuttering CV1

Hi Guys,

i have a little Problem, and i hope you can help me out.

when i play project cars or dirt rally, everytime i look to the side (out of the window), and in the Replays, i see a large stuttering.
when i look just in front of me, everything seems fine.

My System: Windows 10, I5-4670K, 16 GB Ram, Geforce GTX 1080.

The thing i dont understand: it really doesnt matter, what graphic configuration i use.
everything in Ultra or Minimum, i habe the same stuttering.

What do you think could be the Problem??

I get the same problem and i have a higher spec CPU. I'm using the Vive though so not sure if thats causing the problem. I also get it when i have a lot of cars in Assetto Corsa. Thought the 1080 could power the earth!

The GTX 1080 can power the Earth, the Moon, and biggest part of Jupiter moons 😉 In Asseto Corsa when I play in VR I'm all at Maximum, only Reflection is slightly lowered, I even have the "My Documents\<me>\Asseto Corsa\cfg\oculus.ini" settings "PIXEL_PER_DISPLAY=2.0" which is the SuperSamplingx2. I keep 90fps everywhere even on Race with 10 AIs cars, and my CPU is 4 years old:
I7 370K OC 4,4GHz
GTX 1080 non OC for Asseto Corsa, OC for Elite Dangerous
16GB 1600MHz
Win Home 64bits

Saying that, I didn't try yet to launch PCars in VR (which I have). I should try one day I guess 😉

Wow! There must be something really wrong with my setup then if i struggle with 5 cars, with most things on low!
Only thing i can think of is thats its the Vive thats the problem and lack of official support for it.

(I tried posting a reply earlier, but even the forums have issue...)

Did you install the Nvidia's newest drivers? 😕  I had the same issue
Roll back to the prior ones and no stutter. Hopefully Nvidia releases a hotfix, at least.

There was a post by jjkrogs a day or two ago titled: "New GeForce driver causes stuttering (372.54)"

I don't know why my replies show up a day later...
Anyways, this is the link where jjkrogs first posted the issue. I also mentioned it on the official GeForce forums in hopes of a hotfix soon. Otherwise, I'm back on 368.81 and everything is stable...for now.

your seeing that because your not staying at a 90fps I been trying to fix this for a very long time myself only way you will have this go away is if you have in your sdk tools 90fps with some backup on the other side in the performance
