Problem with purchase

Hello,

I need help completing a purchase. I can't buy anything with my account. I tried adding my PayPal account, but it didn’t work. I also bought Quest Cash, but that didn’t work either.

What is the problem with my account?

I'm experiencing the same problem as you. Since February 15, 2025, I haven't been able to purchase games using Quest Cash or a credit card. Even when a friend tries to gift me a game, it doesn't work. I also can't buy Quest Cash or send gifts to others. I contacted the support team, but the issue still hasn't been resolved. I saw on the forums that some people encountered this problem as early as January, and after two months, it's still not fixed. It's really frustrating.

Please attempt the following solutions:
 

  • Try to add a payment method to the account from the Meta Horizon mobile app.
  • If not successful via the App, try by logging into the Meta account website and navigating to Other Settings > Payment Methods.
  • If not successful, try using a different browser.
  • Try adding the payment method from another device completely (another computer, phone, or tablet.
  • Try adding the payment method from within virtual reality by using the headset.
  • Try adding the payment method while connected to a different network (another Wi-Fi network or a cellular data connection on a phone, if available).
    • Some non-residential networks may cause this issue. (for example, business, public, government, military, etc.)
    • Certain network security settings may cause this issue, even on residential networks for example, antivirus, firewall, proxy, router-specific settings).

Once these steps have been attempted, if the issue persists please reach out to us directly to discuss further!

I've tried all the methods you mentioned, but it still doesn't work.

  1. I added three credit cards, but none of them could be used to purchase games. However, these credit cards work fine on my newly created account.
  2. I tried adding a credit card through the website, and it was added successfully, but I still couldn't make a purchase.
  3. I tested it on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox, but none of them worked.
  4. I also tried using different networks, but I still couldn't make a purchase.

Subject: Unable to Purchase Games and Software on Meta Platform

Dear Meta Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue where I am unable to purchase any games or software on the Meta platform. Despite multiple attempts, my transactions consistently fail, and I receive the same error message without any clear explanation.

I have already tried the following:

  1. I am not using a credit card or PayPal—I only intend to purchase using the Meta Quest Cash in my account.
  2. I have tried different networks, reinstalled Meta Horizon, and even attempted purchases on different phones and computers, but the issue persists with the same error message.
  3. I have contacted Meta Support for over a week and have sent more than 15 emails regarding this issue, but it has not been resolved. (Meta Quest Support: Case #07977963)
  4. The error message I receive when attempting to make a purchase is:
    "Request Not Completed - We noticed something unusual and, for your security, this request couldn't be completed. Please try again later, or visit our Help Center."

Could you please assist me in resolving this matter as soon as possible? If there are any specific actions I need to take, kindly provide detailed instructions. Your support in addressing this issue would be greatly appreciated.
