Profile Picture on Menu Keeps Blinking/Refreshing

I have this as well since v67 or 68. Flashes every 10 seconds or so to the default profile photo. There are a bunch of us on Reddit with the same problem. 

also the browser is slow to load for the first time when opening the first webpage. Takes a minute before it loads then it’s fine after.

If you haven't done so already, can you both try updating to V69 and let me know if you still experience the same flashing? 🔦

Hi there. Yea I am on v69 and it’s still happening. Slow opening a webpage when you first open the browser and my profile photo on the bottom main menu bar blinks quickly every 10-20 seconds.

So is the flashing only happening when opening the browser or is it also occurring on the home screen before you open any apps? @user.764669 @SteveJaye84 @shawn_in_space 

If it's only happening when the browser is open, can you try clearing the cache and cookies from the browser?

It’s anytime I’m on the Home Screen. Never stops. I can watch a movie then open my Home Screen and my profile photo is still flickering every 10-20 seconds. Never goes away.

And is your pfp one of the default pictures or is it an image you've uploaded yourself?

If you change pfp does it still blink or is it any/all of the pictures doing the same?

Upgraded. Issue persists, even through factory resets. Seems server based.

happening on Home Screen before opening any apps. Also getting a “Meta Quest An error has occurred” or something like that on start up once getting to the horizon feed, but goes away and doesn’t reappear. Not sure if it’s related.
