I'd like to purchase the Little Cities + Snowy Islands DLC Bundle.
I'm also subscribed to Meta Quest Plus, which includes the base game.
On the store page, it shows the base game as being "Purchased", and the bundle will cost me $10.90, as the price of the original has been deducted from the total. A $0.09 saving?
If I buy the bundle at $10.90, and then discontinue my Meta Quest Plus subscription in the future, will I still own and have access to the base game and the DLC?
I asked this same question of the official Meta support by email, but the Meta support technician didn't seem to understand the question, before assuring me that yes I would keep the base game, except I'm not confident I believe them.

Hey again! Thanks for letting me know about the email you got from support. I went ahead and brought it up with the engineering teams so I could ask for their input. They confirmed that once the Quest+ subscription ends, you will no longer have access to the titles you redeemed beforehand, even if you were to buy the DLC that's supposed to come with the game.
If they cancel their Quest+ subscription, they would lose access to the game though they would still own the DLC, just not be able to use it. They could then either buy the game to continue playing it or re-subscribe to Quest+ to regain access.
This is because while they may have purchased the bundle, they only actually bought the DLC portion since the game was active in their library at the time.
I hope this information helps!

Hey, @jonpads! I would be happy to provide some clarity on this. So, in regards to Quest+, once you cancel the subscription, you will then lose access to any titles that you redeemed in the past once the next billing date is supposed to come around. If you then sign up for Quest+ again later in the future, then you'll have access to all the titles you originally redeemed before the cancellation. Hope this info helps!

I understand that you lose access to redeemed games after cancelling Quest+.
The question was, if I purchase a bundle, which includes a game in Quest+, specifically, Little Cities, with the DLC, will I retain access to the original game, and the DLC? Even while that bundle has been discounted by the price of 99c for the original game?

I appreciate that clarification! This is definitely a unique scenario. Based on what you're saying, since the bundle shows the price of 10.90 and since you mentioned that the store shows that the base game is "purchased," then you'll only be paying for the DLC itself, not the actual game with the bundle.
So if you were to cancel the Quest+ subscription, which has the game you mentioned, you'll still have access to both until the next original payment date passes. Once the subscription finally ends, you won't have access to the game anymore, as well as the DLC, since the game will not be available until either the game is purchased or the subscription is renewed. I hope this answers your question!

Is this an official final answer from Meta for this question? Because previously Meta Support (by email) said
If you purchased the Little Cities and Snowy Islands DLC as a set at a discounted price, a record of your purchase will be kept, so if you are unable to use it, you can still play it by contacting Meta Store Support.

Thank you for contacting the engineering teams to clarify this, it's appreciated.
Perhaps you could pass on a suggestion to the Product Manager to find a solution where customers who like a game in Quest+ are incentivized to also buy the game (maybe at a discount, similar to Gamepass), or buy bundles that contain the game.
But again, thank you for reaching out and clarifying the issue.

Hey, @jonpads! I can definitely pass on your suggestions to our teams. I also recommend posting in the Ideas Boards that you would like to see this in a future update for Quest+. There, other users and developers are able to view and share suggestions with each other. We've even seen some past ideas implemented in later updates!
