QUEST 3 - Audio Streaming (Bluetooth, WIFI, Anything ?)

Hello Guys,

I also opened a support ticket, but I am dreading the answer already.

It seems there is NO WAY to connect a bluetooth headset without unbearable lag to the quest 3 (although even they offer a suggestion which bluetooth headset to buy) I tried 5 different devices and none worked without lag.

As I would like to play games on my meta and my receiver or at least a good headset I was wondering if there are any workarounds ?

I got an AVR with bluetooth and wifi connectability, but via bluetooth it lags, and I havent found any possiblity to use wifi to connect to the receiver ?

Or is there any way to configure bluetooth to work without lag ? I really dont understand why it is not working with the quest, but I found tons of postings on the internet about this problem (already with the quest 2...)

PS: Ive read there is a way via 3.5mm cable and bluetooth transmitter, but really, I already need a power bank to play for a decent amount of time, I dont want to connect another cable to a headset which is great BECAUSE ITS WIRELESS 😄

Hey @VR-Maniac! Using headphones while paying in VR can definitely enhance your experience! Since you are using a third-party headset, we are limited in the troubleshooting steps we can provide. We highly suggest purchasing our BT Buds made for the Meta Quest headset! For more detail, click here.

There is a little USB-C Bluetooth adapter that you can use. There's a YouTube video about it. They claim there's zero lag and I believe it has a pass through for power. It's basically a USB headset only instead of hardwired it sends out a Bluetooth signal. I believe it tricks the headset into thinking you just plugged a USB-C headset into it so there's no driver necessary.

Wow $99.99 when there $55 on Amazon!?!? A little mark up being your not as big of a supplier as Amazon is one thing, but 50% seems a bit much.
