I haven't been able to use my VR set for 2 months now. We've kept it plugged and bought a new charger set for it. It won't turn on or charge. I have also tried to factory reset it and nothing happens. It literally just sits on the charger and doesn't charge all day.

Is it an official meta charge block?
Has it been sitting for awhile?
Do you know of anyone with a quest that might be able to let you power their charge block to see if it recovers the headset?
Have you tried a different cable?

It isn't am officiall charger but I've used it for a while with no problem until now. We recently moved so I don't know anyone near me with a VR set. I have tried different cords and recently but a charger dock for the headset and controllers to sit on to see if that helped but it hasn't.

@crissynoelle 2 months ago there was a meta borkdate that killed hundreds of headsets. It was all over this forum and reddit. So you'll need to send a message to - About MetaQuestSupport - Meta Community Forums

"Worked till now" doesn't mean the charger wasnt causing issues.
I've had subscribers try laptop, ps4, nintendo switch, old android block chargers. They claim they worked up until their headset no longer does. Could be bootlooping, wont turn on or red flashing led light.
I personally recovered 4 of the headsets by using my meta block and cable.
There will be many that say that the charger won't matter but anecdotally, my experience says otherwise.
