Like object, with original quest 1 using wired link or air link [edit] you'll get severe frame drop if Sharpening is enabled. It's more prominent when you trigger the guardian boundary .
Metering with ODT its obvious that the problem is relative to link, showing in the osd link graph visible frame drop.
Note that if I disable sharpening, the stuttering problem dissappear.
Was present in v40 up to v42

Quest 2 user here, same issue. On 120hz airlink, link sharpening causes stutters only when I see guardian lines, If I don't see them then everything works normally. Very disappointed that it is still not fixed since v40.

Hello @toodls! We understand that you are having problems with your frame rate when you are using Air Link. Let's see if we can increase your frame rate. Please try these steps out to see if you notice any changes:
If this does not solve the issue at hand, another thing we recommend is going through the debugging tool on your computer and analyzing the lost frame capture output on your device.
This should be able to give you a more distinct way to alter the frames that are affecting your field of view.
