Hello!
I have a quest 1 that I used for a while and it worked normally. Yesterday I turned on app-sharing and added a second account to the headset and after testing something I deleted the second account again. After that, my Quest 1 was not showing up in the mobile App anymore for the main account. (wanted to enable Dev. mode again) I tried reconnecting (adding a new device), did a factory reset, installed the app, tried another Oculus account, tried another phone but it always displays this message [shown in the picture] after trying to connect vie the 5 digit code. Right now the headset is completely unusable because I cannot complete the initial connection to the app that is required. So I need a fix as soon as possible.

I purchased a meta quest 1 vr headset off of a friend who deleted there profile and data from the headset, I then went to factory reset the device and go through the process and was given a code to pair the device but after putting in the code and trying this multiple times, it still is not pairing and says there is no headset.
Does the previous account need to be fully removed? Or is there another way to pair the device to my phone?

Hi, I've recently updated the sw on the quest, also carried out a factory reset, the device will not pair and is stuck at the screen with the pairing code. I've followed all the suggested steps to fix the problem, bit nothing is working.

I can´t pair a old quest with my phone app.
Tried all the tricks described here. unfortunately without success.
- logoff/login on quest app
- delete and reinstall the phone app
- bt is active incl. location
- quest reseted
- phone restarted
- tried another account
after entering the 5 digit code in the app the message "headset not found" comes up
i already have 3 headsets registered in my account. Is it possible that Meta does not want to pair Quest1 anymore? The headset is fine, I can connect it via usb cable to the PC and the oculus app also recognises the headset. But that doesn't help at all, because the headset wants to be paired! I know that Meta will end support for quest1, but does that mean that meta block older quest from pairing? So after factory reset Quest is now the rubbish? Seriously?

Hello!
I have a quest 1 that i recently factory reset but now it won't pair with my phone. I enter the code as shown in the device but i keep getting the "Device not found" error.
Right now the headset is completely unusable because I cannot complete the initial connection to the app that is required.
Could someone please help me with this?

Search the net for this.
It's full of the same issue.
I think that's what meta wants..... Buy a new one.
No support to fix that problem

We have a couple troubleshooting solutions for pairing issues (factory reset, uninstall and reinstall mobile app), but if you're still having troubles the best option would be sending a PM to support. They'll be able to get you one-on-one assistance, and hopefully get this sorted out for you so you can get back to gaming. I know this isn't a fun situation to be in, but I promise you we're all here to help!
