Hello!
I have a quest 1 that I used for a while and it worked normally. Yesterday I turned on app-sharing and added a second account to the headset and after testing something I deleted the second account again. After that, my Quest 1 was not showing up in the mobile App anymore for the main account. (wanted to enable Dev. mode again) I tried reconnecting (adding a new device), did a factory reset, installed the app, tried another Oculus account, tried another phone but it always displays this message [shown in the picture] after trying to connect vie the 5 digit code. Right now the headset is completely unusable because I cannot complete the initial connection to the app that is required. So I need a fix as soon as possible.
Thanks.

Has this issue been solved or addressed? I'm also stuck on this exact issue and tried sideloader, meta developer hud, and 2.4/5 Ghz. Stuck on 1 of 2 update complete. I've also tried multiple routers, hotspots, phones, and devices.

Any possible solution for Iphone as don't seem to be able to get an older version of the app?
I know it's been said that support for the quest is being removed but surely this is something that will be ratified?

Hey all, it looks like @Gekyume420 was onto something. Since the Quest 1 reset was working a few weeks ago (just broke this week). I downloaded an archived apk (I used Meta Quest 213.0.0.2.111, https://apkpure.com/meta-quest/com.oculus.twilight/versions). Basically I just uninstall current app -> install older version-> factory reset -> paired without issue. Worked for me, I guess @allenKay76's issue might be more severe or has to do with iOS differences (I'm on android).
With that said this solution means I'm stuck on older apks till Meta fixes the app (if they get around to it :c).

No workaround for iphone as of yet unfortunately, only way to fix it is with android. If you have an android device that has bluetooth I’d suggest trying to boot it up and installing an old apk. V 193.0 of the meta apk worked for me if that helps ^

We have 2 Meta Quest 1 headsets that we did a factory reset. The first (and only) screen that showed up after the factory reset in both headsets was the 5-digit pair code. We entered the code on either iPhone or Android smartphone, but all we got is the "Headset not found" message.
We tried the same steps on a Meta Quest 2 headset, which was paired successfully. For some unknown reason(s), the factory reset on Quest 2 was much longer than that on Quest 1; for example, there was the tutorial video that played before asking to pair.
Please help!

@Jewking I'm unfamiliar with Apple devices, so I'm unsure if they have archived app support. I guess one option you can try is to get past the pairing screen and update the headset with an Android device with the older Meta app. Then add your iPhone/Mac to the headset (you should be able to add up to 3 accounts).
Otherwise, we can only hope Meta bothers to fix this 🤞.

This method fixed it for me. My lab's two quest 1 were also stuck after factory reset.
