Hello!
I have a quest 1 that I used for a while and it worked normally. Yesterday I turned on app-sharing and added a second account to the headset and after testing something I deleted the second account again. After that, my Quest 1 was not showing up in the mobile App anymore for the main account. (wanted to enable Dev. mode again) I tried reconnecting (adding a new device), did a factory reset, installed the app, tried another Oculus account, tried another phone but it always displays this message [shown in the picture] after trying to connect vie the 5 digit code. Right now the headset is completely unusable because I cannot complete the initial connection to the app that is required. So I need a fix as soon as possible.

@MetaQuestSupport Now why would I not revert back to an older version my headset is working like it supposed to and its also paired with my phone. Now if I didn’t try @howezhu2 suggestion then I’d still be sat here with a paper weight.

We always try and recommend "official" solutions as opposed to having to use third-party methods to resolve emerging issues. We understand the timing isn't always the best and that's why users will resort to doing things like installing older software versions, but we want to try and offer help when we can.
Either way, we're glad you got your headset working again 🙂

This works a treat i use ios but borrowed my old mans android phone for 5 minutes done as said below and vwallah it works paired straight away and now logged in on my iOS iPhone 14 pro too.

id like to give yall a solution that worked for me when the others didnt, only works if u got an android.
I downloaded meta quest version 193.1.0.15.104 and it was able to find the headset straight away. Hope this helps yall

For those of you on iPhone I would recommend trying again, just managed to connect my headset so either I got lucky or the issue has been resolved.

I'm not having any of the aforementioned issues, but my buddy is currently dealing with it. You say 'make sure the phone app and headset are on the same wifi network', but how can they be on the same network if he can't get by the pairing screen?

@DeadRobot Exactly. That’s gotta be some pre written script cause that’s the reply everyone gets with this same problem.
if you can get your hands on an Android device and download an older version of the App thru apk mirror I can pretty much guarantee that the headset will pair and work as it supposed to. I has the same problem wouldn’t pair to my iPhone 14 pro so i uses my old man’s Galaxy S21 Ultra and everything is how it should be now.

So, after trying anything and everything, I believe it may be an iphone issue? Tried 3 different iphones and had the same issue. Took out an old pixel 4 (android) I had lying around and bam! Paired! No issues. Meta app version 210.0.0.9.114. I'm assuming its the latest update on android.

This pairing issue is something that's recently started up and our engineers are already looking into fixes for the issue. The post you had replied to was from a few weeks back, prior to our team confirming it's an on-going issue for many users.
Unfortunately, iOS users have the worst of the stick as Android users are able to download a different version of the software as mentioned within the thread. We're updating this thread with more information on a solution as soon as we receive more details.
