Quest 1 not pairing with mobile phone

Hello,

 

I am trying to pair the Oculus quest 1 headset with the mobile phone. But after some time follow msg popup

"Please Try Again. Something went wrong."

 

Please help me with this.

many quest 1 and 2 users cannot pair for 2 months now

if this is a new purchase and you can return to store

thats what i did after trying 3 quest 2 units

something is seriously wrong with meta

see the other posts with same complaints and support just saying 'we're working on it' and nothing ever happens for 2 months now

still no solution

Hey, thank you for pointing this issue out to us! We understand pairing issues can be tedious and we'd like to get you back to playing your headset. There are a few things we can try out first. Try these steps below: 

  • Check to make sure your headset is nearby and turned on.
  • Check your Wi-Fi signal. If your signal isn't strong, try moving closer to your wireless router (internet connection device).
  • Check to make sure your headset and mobile phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Check to make sure your headset is fully charged.
  • Make sure that your app is up-to-date.
  • Log out of the mobile app, then log back in.
  • Uninstall then reinstall the mobile app.

If you are still having issues with pairing your headset, we recommend you submit a support ticket. We don't have the required tools to assist here on the forum. One of our specialists will be happy to go over your options with you!

I attempted this step, but it continues to display the same error.

I have been unable to connect the Oculus quest to the phone for two months.

Even after resetting the Oculus Quest to factory settings and reconnecting, it displayed the same error.
