Hi there! I am having trouble with getting Air link to stream properly from my computer to my headset when a couple months ago it was working properly. I am able to launch air link and steam vr, but when I start a game the stream freezes either immediately or after a minute or two. The games themselves have not crashed and are running properly on my pc, and both the computer and headset do not detect any issues even though the stream is frozen.
When using direct USB-C connection, no issues occur and the game runs properly, so I know it is related to air link.
I also have this same issue on both my Quest 2 and a friend's Quest 3, so it does not seem to be related to headset hardware and software.
Finally, this issue occurs both with Steam VR games and Quest Air Link games (lime Asgards Wrath), with various timings on when the stream will freeze, but always within 5 minutes.
Interestingly, when closing the PC game, the stream will come back and air link responds again, so maybe it freezes when a high amount of data gets passed in?
This is a new issue that a couple months ago was not a problem - air link used to work fine. I was talking to support back in August about it but unfortunately we could not fix the issue and I gave up. I am looking to revisit the issue to see if it can be resolved since I can now confirm the same issue occurs on a Quest 3, and also to post and see if anyone else has had the same issue.
