Hi. Whenever I enable ASW in a game such as X-Plane, parts of the screen, such as the sky and any water, flash rapidly; objects like the tops trees flicker too, where they get 'caught up' in the zone that is flashing. If I disable ASW, that issue goes away; but then any moving objects leave ghost images of themselves.
So, I can either in effect see double or triple for all moving images (apart from very slow ones), or put up with the awful flickering. Not much of a choice... in fact, it's a bit of a 'deal breaker' and very depressing, pretty much preventing me from using VR in the games at all.
Well, I went ahead and bought a Quest 3 - and exactly the same problem with that!! No comment as to my feelings required, I think.
Has anyone, please!, a solution to this? How come Meta have not fixed this ASW flashing issue with an update? It is referred to in many threads in many forums. Just one example:
Thank you for any help.

I don't think there is a solution. I think it's a bug which Meta need to fix but won't. It seems that it only happens with RTX40 series cards. Are you using an RTX40 card?

Yes, I am; and that would explain why I didn't notice this with my old RTX2070S! I now use an RTX4070Ti Super. Thanks for the heads up - Meta are currently corresponding with me on this and have asked me for logs etc., so maybe an update will fix it one day.
