Quest 2, Air Link, Play Non VR Games with motion controllers as Gamepad

Using a Quest 2, I am trying to play non VR Games on my PC using Airlink through the Desktop. Once the game is running, I would like to use the Quest 2 Motion controllers as a gamepad. Game examples would be Diablo 3, The Ascent, Cyberpunk 2077.  I know Virtual Desktop does what im asking, but i cant find anything on the web that says i can do this through airlink, and I cant get it to work correctly with my experimentation. Is this possible?  Thanks!!

Hey Starboard-Side! That is a great question and the answer is mostly yes! Every part of the process can be done, except when it comes to pairing your Quest 2 controllers to your PC to use as a gamepad to play your non-VR games. AirLink is not going to be able to pair your controllers to your PC acting as a gamepad. You would be able to pair another type of gamepad controller that has Bluetooth capabilities to your PC and play your non-VR games in virtual desktop that way, just not with your Quest 2 controllers. The Quest 2 controllers are also missing some key features that would make some games harder to play due to the lack of D-Pad, dedicated bumpers, and keymapping for non-VR games, so we would definitely recommend using another controller or keyboard as your gamepad! There probably is a way to get your Quest 2 controllers to Bluetooth pair to your PC, however it would be jumping through hoops that Oculus Support doesn't recommend or support and trying to find a keymapping software for the Quest 2 controller would be another hassle in itself. We hope this was able to help, and happy gaming!

Actually there is, it's pretty recent, but there is now a tool that allows to use your VR controllers to emulate gamepads or virtual steering wheels to control non VR games, you connect your pc through air-link, and view your game through Oculus Dash, here : https://percnops.com/
