Hi there, I recently bought a refurbished Quest 2 headset from ebay, and without link the headset works perfectly fine and acts normal, but whenever I use Air Link to try and connect to my computer the headset shows the Meta logo and 3 dots and always stays at that screen. I've checked basically all the posts on this forum and have checked for graphics driver updates, unpaired and repaired, changed wi-fi, reinstalled meta link, disabled firewall and turned off antivirus but the issue still persists, what am I doing wrong?
My Specs are:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10400 CPU @ 2.90GHz (12 CPUs), ~2.9GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti

Your graphics card it too weak for VR. It's over a decade old and was midrange even when it was new. It has roughly a third of the power of even the lowest supported GPU. Check the compatibility list here if you are considering an upgrade.

That might be true regarding the graphics card, but I get exactly the same scenario with my RTX 3080. I've been using my Quest 2 for years with no issue, but a couple of days ago, I got the exact same problem.
I use a 3080, windows 11 23H2 intel 9 10900k. Tried two link cables, one the official one, which was brand new. Ive done a factory reset of the headset and uninstalled a reinstalled the Meta link app. No joy!
It had been working fine for over a year prior! I use it nearly every other day.
I get stuck on the white meta logo black screen and three dots - it doesn't ever show my desktop through either airlink or cable link.
The app 'Virtual Desktop' does work (you have to pay $25), but my game doesn't work properly with that, and that is not the point!
I have a ticket open currently, but please raise it with support so we have a better chance of fixing it.

@PlayfulStingray6788 @Glowingheat here's something else you could try, as this has worked in the past -
If you are experiencing a grayed out button when attempting to launch Air Link or Link, please follow these troubleshooting steps: Put on the Meta Quest headset. Go to "Settings" then select "System". Scroll down to find "Quest Link" and toggle it off, then back on again. Try launching Air Link or Link again.
If the issue persists after following these steps, please try restarting your computer and headset before trying again.

@oculusness no greyed button - I can click the button no problem, it then loads the black loading screen with white logo and three dots. Normally that lasts for a second, then I can see my computer desktop. Currently though, the desktop never loads up and its stuck on that loading screen indefinitely.
Computer has been restarted multiple times, Quest 2 has been factory reset and meta link software has been uninstalled and reinstalled. It makes no difference.

@Glowingheat it looks like meta updates have starred again. There seem to be a number of people with the same issue and symptoms cropping up.
